Advanced Arasiari train to influence more complex aspects of darkness, such as mature spirits tied to regions of eternal night or areas steeped in myth and legend. This requires deep understanding and immense focus, as darkness spirits are notoriously difficult to control due to their secretive and elusive nature.

One of the most defining moments in an Arasiari’s training is the Trial of Arafia. To complete this rite, a student must spend an entire cycle of darkness—whether a single night or an endless eclipse—in complete isolation, stripped of all light, sound, and distraction. During this trial, they must navigate unseen pathways using only their attunement to darkness, sensing shifts in the shadows and listening for the silent voices of the unseen.

As they progress, they engage in guided communion with mature spirits and are initiated into rituals that align their inner will with the rhythms of light. Master Dhasari may attempt brief attunements with ancestral spirits, usually during eclipses, solstices, or solar alignments, though such events are approached with extreme caution.

In Jalasia, water is seen as a conscious and life-giving force. Each drop holds a spirit of its own, capable of moving, adapting, and nourishing all it touches. Jalasiari attune themselves to these water spirits, learning to guide the flow of rivers, summon rain, or calm the stormy seas.

Through the manipulation of water spirits, Jalasiari gain the ability to shape the physical world, guide others safely through treacherous waters, and heal through the purifying and life-giving properties of water.

Training to become a Jalasiari begins with Osial Attunement, focusing on the nascent spirits of water. Novices learn to control small amounts of water, summon droplets, and guide the flow of streams. As they develop their skills, they progress to manipulating larger bodies of water, learning to summon rain, create waves, and influence the tides.

Advanced Jalasiari train to communicate with the nature spirits of water, such as the spirit of a mighty river or the waters of a sacred spring. These spirits are more powerful and conscious, and require a deep connection to the element of water to influence. Some Jalasiari may even attempt to connect with the ancestral spirits of water, like the spirits of oceans or mythical beings tied to the tides, though such connections are dangerous and require immense power and understanding.

In Kairosia, time is viewed as a conscious and active force, one that connects all moments, past, present, and future. Every second that passes holds a spirit of its own, guiding the flow of events and change. Kairosiari learn to attune themselves to this flow, subtly influencing the movement of time to suit their purposes.

Through the manipulation of time spirits, Kairosiari gain the power to influence the perception and flow of time, though they must tread carefully—time is not easily bent without consequence.

As they progress, Shasiari learn to control larger winds and influence the weather, manipulating the atmosphere over greater distances. At the highest levels, master Shasiari can summon storms, calm tempests, and even guide the breath of life within others, influencing their vitality and strength.

In Tejasia, fire is seen not only as a force of nature but as a conscious entity. Each flame holds a spirit of its own, capable of growing, changing, and interacting with the world. Tejasiari attune themselves to this fiery consciousness, learning to communicate with flames and harness their energy for both practical and metaphysical purposes.

Through the manipulation of fire spirits, Tejasiari gain control over the transformative nature of fire. They can inspire others with the passion and energy of flames, or use fire’s destructive potential to purify and renew.

These spirits are powerful and dangerous, requiring a deep understanding of fire’s consciousness and intent. Only the most advanced Tejasiari attempt to influence the ancestral spirits of fire, as these beings hold immense power over the world’s transformative forces.
