Dharas, the Primordial Spirit of Light, was born from the chaotic energies of Astram within the Primordial Void. Dharas emerged when Daathir conceived of a way out of the darkness, bringing forth the first spark of illumination and awakening the universe to the power of light.

Nature and Influence

Dharas is the force that fills Adaris with light and warmth. It is the sun that rises each morning, casting away the shadows of night and awakening the world to a new day. Dharas is the glow of a lamp, the twinkle of a star, and the gentle light that guides all living beings through both physical and spiritual realms.

Dharas represents clarity, enlightenment, and the pursuit of knowledge. Its influence is seen in every form of illumination, whether physical or metaphorical, providing the vision to see what lies ahead and the understanding to grasp the unknown. Where Dharas shines, truth and knowledge flourish. It is also a symbol of hope, bringing the promise of new beginnings and the ability to navigate out of darkness.

Relationship with Other Elements

Dharas interacts with the other primordial elements, balancing and influencing their roles in creation:

  • With Arafia: Dharas and Arafia exist as cosmic opposites—light and darkness in perpetual balance. Together, they create the cycles of day and night, shaping the contrasts that define existence.
  • With Tejas: Closely aligned, fire and light together represent transformation. Fire brings Dharas's energy into the world as warmth and illumination, but also as destruction and renewal.
  • With Oras: Dharas nourishes the physical world with light, ensuring life can grow upon Oras's steady foundation.
  • With Shasae: The winds of Shasae carry Dharas’s radiance across the sky, shaping the weather and allowing vision to stretch across the world.

Realm

The realm of Dharas, Aurelion, is a vast and radiant expanse of light. In Aurelion, beams of illumination intertwine like living entities, creating a ceaseless display of brilliance and color. Shadows cannot form here, and all who enter find themselves bathed in pure clarity.

Aurelion and Noirra, the realm of darkness, are cosmic counterpoints. As Adaris turns between them, the cycle of day and night is created. Within Aurelion, the boundary between physical and spiritual light dissolves. It is said that those who journey there see all things as they truly are.

Osia

Dhasia is the branch of Osia associated with Dharas, focused on the manipulation of nascent spirits of light. Practitioners of this art are known as Dharasari.

Dharasari channel the metaphysical qualities of light—clarity, truth, and enlightenment—alongside its physical manifestations. They are revered as guides, protectors, and sages across Adaris.

Abilities of Dharasari

  • Light Manipulation: Shaping and projecting light to illuminate, defend, or heal.
  • Illumination of Truth: Dispelling illusions and revealing hidden knowledge.
  • Solar Channeling: Harnessing solar energy for restoration, empowerment, or devastation.

Significance and Worship

Dharas is honored as the cosmic bringer of light and truth. Temples dedicated to Dharas are designed to capture sunlight at all hours, filled with mirrors, reflective surfaces, and ambient soundscapes that mimic the harmony of radiant energy.
