Category:Wardens
Wardens are the races that the Primordial Spirits created as warriors to fight for them. Each was formed by gathering the consciousness already present in its spirit's element or aspect. They are known collectively as the warden races.

The four elemental warden races fought in the Great Erosion. The fighting ended when Umalyu created the Enarei, beings more powerful than the Wardens, who stopped the conflict. Afterwards the Namuril withdrew with Yairan to the Domain of Yairan, where they are presumed still to live.
The Inguik and the Nuworno were created when the Dawn Wars began, with the emergence of time near the end of the Great Erosion. They still fight, in an endless struggle that produces day and night on Dalel.
