Introduction
Mount Bundzeil is the tallest peak in the Citadel Mountains. It is more than just a mountain, it is an Ancestral spirit and a sacred landmark of the Minthari civilization. Minthek, the central Minthari settlement, is carved directly into the mountain’s core, its tunnels honeycombing the sheer rock face and extending deep beneath the surface.
Etymology
From the Arânzeni words bunduc zeilituă, meaning "roof of the world." Zeilituă meaning "of the world" and bunduc meaning "roof".
Climate
Mount Atal’s surface climate is brutal, but its interior tunnels offer protection from the elements. Freezing winds frequently cross the exposed face and the upper regions are snowbound year round.
Cultural Significance
Mount Atal is sacred to the Minthari.
