Introduction

Shasia is the branch of Osia that focuses on the manipulation of wind and air spirits, with practitioners known as Shasiari. As masters of air and atmosphere, Shasiari manipulate the flow of wind, the currents of the sky, and the breath of life. The essence of Shasia comes from the Primordial Spirit of air, Shasae, who governs all atmospheric forces in Adaris.

Principles

Shasia is centered on the manipulation of wind spirits, ranging from the smallest breeze to mighty gales. These spirits are dynamic and ever-changing, embodying the freedom and movement of the atmosphere. Shasiari attune their minds to the invisible forces that shape the sky and wind, gaining the ability to control air currents, direct gusts of wind, and influence the breath of life that sustains all living things.

Wind spirits are quick to react and flow with ease, making them ideal for manipulation by skilled Shasiari. However, the very nature of air means that control must be subtle and adaptive, as wind is notoriously difficult to hold and command.

Spiritual Hierarchy

The wind spirits manipulated by Shasiari exist at various levels of consciousness, from minor breezes to mighty tempests. Like other branches of Osia, these spirits grow in complexity and power as they develop:

• Nascent spirits: These wind spirits represent the smallest forms of air movement, such as fleeting breezes or the gentle movement of leaves. Shasiari can easily manipulate these spirits, influencing small gusts of wind or controlling the air within a limited area.
• Mature spirits: These spirits control larger air masses, such as the winds that drive storms or the currents that shape the weather. Influencing mature wind spirits requires greater skill, as they are more independent and govern entire regions of air movement.
• Ancestral spirits: Ancient wind spirits govern entire atmospheric systems, such as the jet streams or long-standing weather patterns. These spirits are immensely powerful, and only the most accomplished Shasiari dare to commune with them, seeking wisdom or assistance in controlling vast areas of air.
