Introduction

Ledel is a large carnivorous bog plant of Balúrail. Its long, sticky tendrils form nets that can trap and digest animals as large as people.

Etymology

Ledel is a shortened form of the Mifajene ledel nacaye, "net of death".

Distribution and Habitat

Ledel grows in the bogs of the Western Lowlands.

Toxicity

Animals and people caught in its tendrils are held fast and slowly digested.
