Featured Article

Lavierin is the capital of the Arânzeni Confederation and the largest city in Khamria. It is carved into the western side of the Așdilu Mountains, at the southern end of the Baviare Vale. Founded in 302 ME, it is the oldest human settlement in Khamria, and it has about 150,000 inhabitants.

The city was built on a site left empty by the Namuril, and several of its oldest structures date from the Great Erosion. Among them is the Grand Hall of Yairan, where the Council of Lavierin has met since 340 ME. Each new year the city celebrates Ioriea, a festival in honor of Yairan.

-The Duranthi, like all human races of Orethil, trace their origins to the [[Jondoe]]s who once inhabited the island of [[Awenlir]], a place associated with imagination and limitless potential. For reasons not fully understood, many or all of the Jondoe departed from their ancestral homeland and dispersed across Orethil. The group that would become the Duranthi settled in [[Sanctuary Vale]], a region located near the heart of the world and closely associated with Varunel, the Ascendant Spirit of memory and history. Over the course of approximately three thousand cycles, this population underwent significant transformation.
