| Aisembier (edit) | A bustling crossroad where multiple side-tunnels converge, Aisembier is the heartbeat of agriculture in the central range. It has deep-well grain silos, fungus preserves, and rest caverns. |
Known for its Irumi breeding stables and subterranean music festivals. |

| Avilîché (edit) | Avilîché is one of the northernmost settlements of the Oinien, a fortified underground outpost honeycombed into the towering slopes of Mount Dombortisé, the highest peak of the Orinilure Mountains. Positioned at a strategic vantage point, it grants Oinien an unparalleled view, through their use of Himoja and foreign spotters, of the surrounding regions, allowing them to monitor movements across the northern highlands, the Aráinia Mountains, and beyond. |
Avilîché is carved into Mount Dombortisé’s sheer rock face, with multiple layers of tunnels running deep into the mountain’s core. The altitude of Avilîché makes the surface world nearly uninhabitable, with freezing temperatures, strong winds, and unpredictable rockslides keeping all but the most resilient creatures away. |
Avilîché was established as the northern watchpost, originally serving as a small military outpost for early Oinien scouts. Over centuries, it expanded into a full-fledged subterranean fortress, vital for protecting the northern reaches of the Orinilure Mountains. The Oinien employ Himoja and a legion of foreign mercenaries here to be their eyes. |
Life in Avilîché is harsh and disciplined, as the settlement is a frontier stronghold rather than a traditional Oinien city. The Oinien who live here adapted to the extreme conditions of the northern mountains. Due to the need to have watchers for threats, the Oinien have long relied on the Himoja and on hired foreign mercenaries to be their eyes. This is perhaps most notable in Avilîché where spotters are well respected and utilized. |

| Biuleure (edit) | Biuleure is the last major settlement before reaching Avilîché, Biuleure guards a network of mineral-rich faults. It doubles as a military outpost. |

| Biulu (edit) | Biulu is the southern most city in the Orinilure Collective. A vital Oinien settlement situated at the junction of several ore-rich tunnels within the southern Orinilure Mountains. It specializes in primary processing of raw minerals extracted from the surrounding rock. |
Biulu was founded during the middle phase of the Orinilure Expansion, once the southern tunnel systems had been stabilized and continuous ore flow was established. |

| Lirandi (edit) | A small town nestled within a collapsed cavern system. |
Built around a natural chamber. |
||||||||||
| Lirépiel (edit) | Lirépiel is nestled deep within the Orinilure Mountains, and is a central hub for travelers, traders, and weary Oinien returning from long journeys. Lirépiel is a place of respite, known for its geothermal spas and natural hot springs. Steam rises from the deep fissures in the earth, filling the tunnels with a soothing warmth, and the town thrives on a booming hospitality industry, making it one of the most unique settlements in Oinien civilization. |
Lirépiel sits at the heart of the Orinilure Mountains, located within a natural volcanic rift that channels geothermal heat and mineral-rich waters through the cavern walls. The town is designed around these thermal features, with its tunnels and chambers shaped to maximize warmth and relaxation. Lirépiel’s central location makes it the perfect waypoint between the northern strongholds and southern settlements, allowing travelers to recover, resupply, and reconnect before continuing their journeys. |
Lirépiel was not always a leisure destination—it began as a simple crossroads settlement, built to serve merchants and tunnel travelers moving through the Orinilure Mountains. Over time, the discovery of geothermal springs transformed the town into a haven for relaxation and recovery. |
Lirépiel is one of the most open and welcoming Oinien settlements, shaped by its role as a crossroads town and relaxation hub. The town’s culture is centered on hospitality, comfort, and the appreciation of geothermal wonders. |

| Orinilure City (edit) | Orinilure City is the capital of the Orinilure Collective and the largest city in Orinilure, with about 70,000 inhabitants. It is an underground city of chambers and tunnels in the southern Orinilure Mountains. Most of its people are Oinien, and Himoja live among them. It is the political and economic center of the Collective and a major center of mining and metalworking. |
Orinilure City lies in the southern part of the Orinilure Mountains, north of Biulu and south of Lirandi. It is entirely underground. The city is built on several levels, with tunnels running above and below one another and joined by ramps and shafts. Its main thoroughfares are the Grand Tunnels, which are part of the Deep Roads. The Oinien are nearly blind and find their way through the city by echolocation. Chimes mark junctions and important buildings, and floors are textured differently from one street and district to the next. |
The site was a set of natural caverns with passages left by the Namuril from the Great Erosion. The settlers who entered the Orinilure Mountains in 150 ME took shelter there, and the city was founded in 152 ME as their first settlement in the range. It grew outward and downward from these caverns over the following centuries. When the Orinilure Collective was formed in 230 ME, the city became its capital. During the Age of Deep Roads (150 – c. 500 ME) the Grand Tunnels were cut and the city was linked to the other settlements of the range and to Khamria. The war of 626–633 ME with the Erden Monopoly did not reach the city. |
The city has six districts.
|
Life in the city is built around mining and the accumulation of wealth. Miners, engineers, and artisans hold high status, and those who accumulate the most wealth in a year govern the Collective for the following cycle. The Himoja of the city live among the Oinien, not in a quarter of their own, and many work on the surface on the Oinien's behalf. |
The economy of the city is based on mining and metallurgy. It exports iron, copper, silver, and worked metal goods. Fungus farms, livestock, and wells within the city supply part of its food, and the rest is grain brought in from the Orinilure Valley. |
The city is defended by its depth and by the gates on its tunnels and surface entrances. The Collective relies on hired mercenaries for its defense. The Oinien themselves are able to fight and serve as the city's police force. |
