Introduction
Iecialzic Gate is a fortified outpost and wall complex located at the only navigable pass through the eastern escarpment from the Fractured Wedge into Baviare Vale. The wall spans 6.5 miles in width and serves as both a controlled entry point and a strategic hub. The site is operated under the direction of the Council of Lavierin and remains continuously staffed and fortified.
Etymology
Iecialzic is the Arânzeni word for "eastern."
Geography
The wall occupies a natural break in the escarpment, flanked by high cliffs to the north and fractured terrain to the south. The wall is layered with interlocking blocks and integrated observation towers. Internal access routes link major segments, while outer walkways provide observation of pass activity.
History
Iecialzic Gate was established following difficulties in regulating passage through the eastern escarpment. Early incidents led the Council of Lavierin to commission a permanent structure. As usage increased, the outpost expanded into a full logistics and inspection center travel.
