Dalel is the realm of earth in Adaris and the realm of Yairan, the Primordial Spirit of earth. It comprises all land: the continents, the islands and the spaces beneath them where mortal peoples live. Once an unbroken expanse of stone, it was reduced to its present extent in the Great Erosion, when water, air and fire entered it.
Dalel is a flat plane. Its climate runs in rings, hottest toward the center and coldest at the outer edge. Its land is divided between three continents, Méniail, Luraskor and Rohashe, and the large island of Orhuart.
