Introduction

Tñarilu is the Primordial Spirit of light. It was the second of the seven Primordial Spirits to arise from the interaction of Umalyu's consciousness and Pavkanai's imagination in the Napadéh: in the darkness, Umalyu instinctively dreamed of light, and Tñarilu came into being.

Nature and Influence

Tñarilu embodies light and fills Adaris with light and warmth.

Relationship with Other Elements

Tñarilu emerged after Náiluv, the Primordial Spirit of darkness. Their drawing apart of light and darkness ended the Era of Isolation. When time emerged, near the end of the Great Erosion, the Dawn Wars began: an endless conflict between Tñarilu and Náiluv for control of space, whose ebb and flow produces day and night on Dalel. Tñarilu created the Inguik to fight for it. Neither side can win; their balance, the Great Equilibrium, constantly tips back and forth.

Realm

Tñarilu's realm is Qaaniguaq, the realm of light. It formed when Tñarilu and Náiluv drew light and darkness apart, and it lies beside Dalel, opposite Woncu, the realm of darkness. It is a vast expanse of light.

Osia

The Path of Tñarilu is the branch of Osia that works with the spirits of light. Its disciples command Nascent Spirits of light and negotiate with Mature ones.

Cultural Practices

In art, Tñarilu is customarily depicted as a radiant, handsome man.
