Part of the History of Dalel
Remains of a Namuril. The Namuril were created during the Great Erosion, which ended the Era of Isolation.

The Era of Isolation is the earliest period in the history of Dalel. It began when Yairan, the Primordial Spirit of Earth, formed Dalel, and ended when the Great Erosion began. During this period Dalel was the only tangible realm and Yairan was its only inhabitant. The era predates the emergence of time and has no dates or measurable length.

Dalel during the era

Yairan formed Dalel from Ákyar, the chaotic energy of Napadéh. Dalel was an unbroken and unbounded expanse of solid stone, without terrain, water, air, fire, or life. Because time did not yet exist, nothing in it changed.

Light and darkness, the domains of Tñarilu and Náiluv, existed during the era and fell on Dalel, but neither spirit entered it. Aahi, Yavi, and Metihi, the spirits of water, air, and fire, had not yet entered the realm.

End of the era

The era ended when Aahi, who had no realm of its own, forced its way into Dalel and began the Great Erosion. Yavi and Metihi followed. Konmai, the Primordial Spirit of time, emerged during the Great Erosion, and the history of Dalel is dated from that period onward.

Legacy

The Domain of Yairan is regarded as the only part of Dalel that remains as it was during the Era of Isolation.
