Introduction:	'''Saevien''' is the language of the [[Saevien]], the warden race of [[Pavkanai]], in [[Homhuen]], the realm of imagination and dreams. The spirits of imagination speak it alongside [[Tivayi]].
Etymology:	The language shares its name with the Saevien, a shortened form of ''saengzvienz'', "dream".
History:	Saevien is thought to be as old as the Saevien themselves, whom Pavkanai formed after the [[Great Erosion]], once the [[Dawn Wars]] had begun.
Distribution:	Saevien is spoken in Homhuen. It is not known ever to have been spoken in [[Dalel]].
Dialects:
Phonology:	Saevien words are built from short syllables, each carrying a tone. The tone is written with a final letter, ''z'', ''j'', ''x'', ''q'' or ''h'', as in ''saengzvienz'' and ''homhuengj''. Names taken from Saevien often drop these letters, as in ''Saevien'' and ''Homhuen''.
