== Training and Attunement == Training to become a Kairosiari is one of the most difficult paths in Osia. It begins with Osial Attunement, where novices learn to sense the subtle movements of time spirits in the world around them. They begin by manipulating small moments, such as slightly speeding up the passage of time in a controlled environment. As their attunement deepens, Kairosiari learn to extend their influence over larger periods and more complex scenarios, such as temporarily altering the flow of time in a specific location or aging objects faster or slower. Only a handful of practitioners reach the level where they can affect large stretches of time, and even then, the effects are temporary and limited. Most Kairosiari never reach the point of manipulating Mature Spirits of time, as such manipulations require immense concentration and risk. However, the most powerful Kairosiari may seek to commune with the Ancestral Spirits of time, though such attempts are dangerous and can result in unintended consequences, such as time loops, distortions, or other anomalies.
