== Evolution into Mature Spirits == Over time, nascent spirits can merge and evolve into more complex beings known as [[Mature Spirits]]. This process occurs naturally as the spirits interact with their environment or through the influence of outside forces, such as beliefs, rituals, or the focused will of an [[Osiari]]. As nascent spirits evolve, they take on more defined forms and purposes, becoming tied to specific places, objects, or beings. For instance, the flickering spirit of a flame might evolve into a fire elemental, or the whispering wind could become a guardian spirit of a particular region. This process is central to the cosmology of Adaris, as it reflects the ongoing development of consciousness in the universe. What begins as a small, formless potential may eventually become a powerful force with a distinct role in shaping the world.
