Kelath Falls

Kelath Fall is a major waterfall located on the eastern escarpment of Vale's Edge, where the Sora River descends into the upper reaches of the Telenkar Fold. The fall marks the largest natural drop in the central Sanctuary Vale region and functions as a geographic and logistical boundary between highland supply routes and the basin-based river system. It is the defining topographic feature of the adjacent settlement, Kelath-Tar.
The waterfall plunges from a sheer stone cliff, fed by the consistent flow of the Sora River emerging from the Murazkar Range. Its descent carves a narrow chute that expands into a wide spray basin below, with sediment-heavy water dispersing into the valley floor. Mist from the fall frequently blankets the lower region, creating visibility issues but also contributing to limited local moisture levels.
Kelath Fall has no formal spiritual significance but is regarded with operational importance by Stonewarden patrols and logistical coordinators. The mechanical hauler system at Kelath-Tar is built alongside the fall and requires continuous maintenance due to exposure from spray, erosion, and pressure shifts in the river.
While not accessible to the public outside of work teams and river crews, Kelath Fall remains one of the most visually prominent features of the Sora River’s course and the broader Sanctuary Vale topography.
