Introduction
Kete is the language of the Q'omk'uq, a people of Q'ommer, the realm of time. It is a later, worn form of K'et'er, the language of the Kesomir.
Etymology
Kete is the Kete word for "language", the worn form of K'et'er.
History
Kete developed from K'et'er in the speech of the Q'omk'uq through a regular wearing-down of its sounds. Shared roots remain recognizable, as in K'et'er q'exriner beside Kete kesrine.
Distribution
Kete is spoken by the Q'omk'uq in Q'ommer.
Phonology
Kete has no glottalized consonants and no glottal stop. It has no q or x; these became k and s. Long vowels are not distinguished in writing, and final consonants are often dropped, so many words end in a vowel.
