Introduction

Surn’s Refuge is a vast, vaulted sanctuary district carved deep within the stone body of Lavierin. Known for its mineral formations, pillar rings, and architectural stillness, the district serves as the ceremonial soul of the city. Named in honor of Surn-Zal, an early historian and architect, the district is where Arânzeni citizens gather for sacred observances.

History

Surn’s Refuge was among the first deep chambers discovered during Lavierin’s downward expansion. Originally a natural mineral hollow most likely used by the Namuril.
