Introduction
The Kesomir are the warden race of Konmai, the Primordial Spirit of time. They are the protectors of Q'ommer, the realm of time, and guard the order of time itself.
Etymology
Kesomir is the K'et'er word for "guardian".
Origin and Nature
Like the other warden races, the Kesomir were not shaped from nothing: Konmai gathered the consciousness already present in time until it took form and awareness. They came into being with Konmai, near the end of the Great Erosion. Because Q'ommer lies outside the ordinary sequence of events, the Kesomir are also said to have always existed within it, a paradox in keeping with the nature of time.
History
Unlike the other warden races, the Kesomir were not made for a war. Their purpose is protection: they keep Q'ommer and the order of time secure, so that events in the other realms occur in sequence. Legends tell of those who have tried to exert great influence over time, and the Kesomir are held to stand against any such attempt.
Biology and Physical Traits
The Kesomir are humanoid but largely featureless. In art they are usually shown in surreal, abstract forms rather than as distinct individuals. They are ageless.
Abilities and Osia
The Kesomir follow the Path of Konmai. Because of their closeness to Konmai, they hold great power over time, beyond that of human disciples.
Mythology and Legends
Kesomir are very rarely seen in Dalel, and accounts of them are the stuff of myth.
Relations with Other Races
The Kesomir share Q'ommer with the Q'omk'uq, a separate people. Their language, K'et'er, is an older form of the tongue the Q'omk'uq speak.
