Introduction

The Path of Aahi is the branch of Osia concerned with the manipulation of water spirits tied to Aahi, the Primordial Spirit of water. Its practitioners are known as disciples of the Path of Aahi. In Adaris, water is regarded as a source of life and as a conscious force associated with adaptability, healing, and change.

Principles

The Path of Aahi involves the manipulation of water spirits, conscious particles that govern the flow of rivers, lakes, and oceans and the life they sustain. These spirits exist in every form of water, from droplets to seas. Disciples of the Path of Aahi attune their minds to water and learn to control its flow and shape.

Water spirits are associated with fluidity, adaptability, and life. Followers of the Path of Aahi use them for healing, movement, and transformation.

Spiritual Hierarchy

Like all branches of Osia, the Path of Aahi involves manipulating spirits at various stages of development. Water spirits exist in different forms, each representing a stage of consciousness.

  • Nascent spirits: The simplest water spirits, existing as drops of rain or small streams. Disciples of the Path of Aahi can manipulate them easily and use them for basic tasks such as directing small amounts of water or raising gentle waves.
  • Mature spirits: Water spirits that have grown more powerful and defined and embody larger and more persistent forms of water, such as a river or a lake. These spirits are more aware and can control the waters they inhabit.
  • Ancestral spirits: Ancient spirits of large bodies of water, such as oceans and the tides. Only the most skilled followers of the Path of Aahi attempt to commune with them, as they have the power to reshape a coastline or flood a region.
