Introduction
Surnaketh is a monastic sanctuary nestled deep within the northern edge of the Așdilu Mountains, near the highland convergence point of Mount Arînzbianz. Revered across Khamria as one of the most direct points of communion with the Yairan. As with most centers for Osia study, Surnaketh exists outside any one civic jurisdiction.
History
Surnaketh predates most formal institutions. Oral records suggest it was first built by an unnamed Namuril during the early Great Erosion. Early scholars noted its presence and gradually recognized it as a site of elemental attunement.
The Arânzeni later adopted Surnaketh as a sanctum for meditation before eventually turning Surnaketh over to the Path of Yairan, who converted the sanctum into a center for studying earth-based Osia.
Spiritual Significance
The sanctuary functions as a site of earth based attunement and study. It is maintained by the Path of Yairan.
Defense and Military
