Introduction:
Binzir is a rugged upland subregion along the south-eastern edge of the Sanctuary Vale. Situated directly west of the Așdilu Mountains and northwest of Lavierin, the hills mark the transitional zone between the high mountain slopes and the lower basins. The terrain consists of rolling stone terraces, shaâllow-cut gullies, and weathered outcrops that support sparse vegetation and limited habitation.
Etymology:
''Binzir'' is an Arǎnzeni word meaning full of hills.
Geography:
Historical Significance:
Binzir has historically served as a staging and training area for initiates from Lavierin and nearby settlements. Though not the site of major conflicts or civic centers, their proximity to the capital has made them strategically important for logistical movement .
Cultural Significance:
While not heavily populated, Binzir maintains cultural relevance as a borderland under the influence of Lavierin. Several small settlements practice farming and relay support for caravans bound for the deeper Vale.
