== Legends and Lore == The Terraces of Mist are surrounded by myths and legends that speak of the mountains' mystical qualities and the powerful beings that reside within them. * '''The Lost Temple of Mist'''': According to legend, there is a hidden temple deep within the Terraces of Mist, where an ancient order of monks once communed with the spirits of the mountains. It is said that those who find the temple will gain wisdom and enlightenment from the spirits. * '''The Mistwalkers'''': Stories tell of mysterious beings known as Mistwalkers who are said to be able to move effortlessly through the fog, disappearing and reappearing at will. Some believe that the Mistwalkers are the spirits of the mountains, while others think they are guardians who protect the Terraces from outsiders.
