These natural steps are often covered in dense vegetation, creating a layered landscape that is both beautiful and challenging to navigate. * '''Waterfalls and Caves''': The abundant rainfall in the Terraces of Mist has given rise to numerous waterfalls that cascade down the terraced slopes. Many of these waterfalls have carved out caves and grottoes in the mountainsides, some of which are believed to be inhabited by forest spirits.
