Introduction

The Teardrop Range is a vast, horseshoe-shaped mountain range that encircles the lush Emerald Valley, forming a natural barrier that separates the fertile lands of Emerald Valley from Terasil.

Etymology

The name "Teardrop Range" is derived from its teardrop (horseshoe) shape, believed by Orasians to be formed by the tears of Oras, weeping over the fate of the earth. Ancient myths suggest that the valley within the range was a sacred gift, a place where the land could heal and flourish.

Geography

The Teardrop Range is defined by its enclosing arc of peaks, creating a self-contained ecosystem within Emerald Valley

Climate

The Teardrop Range exhibits two distinct climates:

  • High Elevations: Arid and cold, with strong winds and little vegetation.
  • Emerald Valley: Mild and fertile, with temperate seasons and steady rainfall, creating the only viable farmland in Terasil.
